I grew up in McClusky, North Dakota. I graduated from VCSU in 1991 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in secondary education, with a major in Mathematics and minors in Computer Science and Physical Education. I graduated from Minot State University in 2000 with a Master's Degree. From 1992 to 1994, I was a teacher and coach in the New Leipzig School system. From 1994 to 2002, I was a teacher and coach in the Carrington School system. I am currently a Math Instructor at VCSU.
I am married to Celeste Olson. We have two daughters, Abby and Mara. I enjoy all sporting events. My favorite hobbies include hunting, fishing, and being with my family.
