When not teaching at VCSU I like to hunt, fish, do carpentry, and travel. Previously I taught at Velva, ND, Kwajalein, Marshall Islands, Mandaree, ND, Minot State University, and the University of North Dakota. My current teaching assignments include Earth Sciences, Chemistry, Science Teaching Methods, and supervision of science student teachers. I also am the North Dakota state coordinator for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST)program.
