Transforming Educational Practice

Building on an excellent reputation, Valley City State University has earned national recognition for transforming educational practice by focusing on learners, meeting their needs, and using instructional technologies effectively.  Universal computer access has been key to fulfilling a leadership role in the effective use of instructional technologies.  In 1996, Valley City State University became the first notebook computer campus in North Dakota and the second such campus in the United States.  Transforming Educational Practice reveals encouraging research results and is subdivided to include the following major sections:
