Grading: Your grade this semester will be based on the total points you earn.  Although not required, students may form groups to work on the assignments. Each group will turn in one assignment with the names of all group members who contributed to completion of the assignment.  The maximum number of students in a group will be determined after the third class meeting when we know how many students are registered for the course.  Group members not contributing to the completion of an assignment will not receive any credit for the group’s work.  Those students will be required to turn in an alternate assignment for a grade.
