Alfred Bernardo

User Services Librarian

About:
I am the User Services Librarian at VCSU. I received my Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University in May 2015, and worked for over six years in central Ohio public libraries prior to arriving at VCSU.

For faculty and students, my role on campus is to serve as the reference and instruction librarian. I am available to provide research help to students - from planning research, to finding sources, to understanding citations - as well as library instruction sessions in the classroom or on site in the library.

Students can get reference help any time during the library's normal reference hours, and are also welcome to contact me via email and library chat. Students can also schedule an appointment for individual or in-depth assistance.

Faculty may contact me directly or use our Library Instruction Request form to set up a class session.

Degrees:
M.L.I.S., Kent State University, 2015; B.A. Political Science, Otterbein University, 2005
