The ND IDEA group is an association of North Dakota professionals involved with or interested in Instructional Design. The next meeting is scheduled for February 5th at Valley City State University.

Mission

  • Advocate for effective teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate on and share resources, experiences, and ideas.
  • Review and recommend appropriate integration of technology to meet instructional goals.
  • Serve as a repository for instructional resources, training, and materials.
  • Act as a clearinghouse for current research and best practices in teaching and learning.

    • Presenter: Dr. Richard Van Eck is the Graduate Director for the Instructional Design and Technology program at the University of North Dakota. He received his M.A. in English from UND, and his Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Development at the University of South Alabama. His dissertation focused on the use of an instructional game to promote transfer of learning of mathematics and attitude toward mathematics.
      This presentation will be delivered via Adobe Connect. Access instructions are available upon request.
