The ND IDEA group is an association of North Dakota professionals involved with or interested in Instructional Design. The next meeting is scheduled for March 5th at the University of North Dakota.

Mission

  • Advocate for effective teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate on and share resources, experiences, and ideas.
  • Review and recommend appropriate integration of technology to meet instructional goals.
  • Serve as a repository for instructional resources, training, and materials.
  • Act as a clearinghouse for current research and best practices in teaching and learning.

Open to anyone interested in the instructional design process and its impact on learning.

Next Meeting
Friday, March 5th, 10AM to 2 PM at the University of North Dakota - at the IDEA Lab in the Ina Mae Rude Entrepreneur Center. Visitor parking is available in the lot or on the street along the Center.   • 11:00 - 12:00 Special Topic Presentation: Early Childhood Online: What a Difference a Year Makes.
    • Less than a year ago, faculty in the Early Childhood Program of the Teaching & Learning department at UND began the journey of developing online courses for undergraduate and graduate students. Then they launched the new online MS Early Childhood Education program in the fall. Two faculty members, will share insights of their journey and what it has meant to them, their students, and their department. See what a difference a year can make.
    • Presenters: Susan Offutt and Judy Milavetz, UND Early Childhood Faculty.
